Position Details

  • Position: Grants Administrator: Grants Administration
  • Salary: R 216,417 – R 254,928 per annum (excluding benefits)

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4)
  • Skills: Proficiency in computer literacy is mandatory.

Additional Advantageous Qualifications:

  • A valid driver’s license
  • Experience in administrative or clerical roles

Key Duties and Responsibilities

As a Grants Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Social Grants Administration:
    Supporting the administration of social grants at the local office level, including processing applications and providing customer service.
  2. Customer Care Services:
    Assisting grant applicants, responding to inquiries, and ensuring a high level of service.
  3. Application Screening and Processing:
    Screening and processing grant applications, including conducting quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  4. Support for Medical and Payment Processes:
    Assisting with processing medical-related information, managing beneficiary details, and overseeing payment workflows.
  5. Compliance with PFMA:
    Ensuring adherence to Section 57 of the PFMA focuses on financial management responsibilities within public institutions.
