About the Job
Infosys is looking to recruit professionals for their Legal Compliance Team at the Bangalore office. This team plays a crucial role in maintaining the company’s compliance framework, especially in managing legal and contractual obligations with clients.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Experience: 4 to 8 years post-qualification experience in legal compliance, mainly designing and implementing compliance programs.
- Educational Qualifications:
- Law graduates (LLB) are preferred.
- Certified professionals such as Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE) or Certified Internal Auditors (CIA) are also encouraged to apply.
- Key Skills:
- Strong knowledge of compliance programs and the ability to analyze and implement compliance clauses from client contracts.
- Experience working within a compliance management system.
- Expertise in reviewing Master Service Agreements (MSA) and Statements of Work (SOW).
- Ability to interpret and implement contractual and compliance obligations logically and clearly.
- Capable of advising internal teams on control measures based on compliance requirements and ensuring that stakeholders understand their obligations.
- Familiarity with developing audit programs in collaboration with the Quality team to ensure compliance with client and organizational expectations.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for various critical functions related to compliance and legal obligations:
- Risk Management & Compliance Program Development: Work closely with the ERM (Enterprise Risk Management), Quality Team, and Delivery Leadership to assess risks and help design and implement a robust compliance program for the organization.
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Guidelines: Review and advise on the design and execution of SOPs in collaboration with relevant teams to ensure alignment with legal and compliance frameworks.
- Coordination and Communication: Liaison between the compliance program team, external SMRs (Subject Matter Representatives), and internal stakeholders like the Delivery Team and ERM to implement a comprehensive compliance framework.
- Contractual & Legal Compliance: Review customer contracts and assist in identifying and interpreting the legal and contractual obligations that affect the compliance framework.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct assessments to determine whether downstream processes adequately meet compliance requirements, providing feedback and implementing control measures when necessary.
- Compliance Framework & Governance: Act as the legal Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the vertical compliance team, assisting with the governance and management of the compliance framework.
- Learning & Development: Play a role in designing and delivering training programs to educate various teams about sector-specific compliance requirements through workshops and seminars.
Location
