The College was affiliated to the Calcutta University upto 1962 and then to the University of Burdwan for the degree students in Arts and Science in the following subjects

I. Three year General Course in Arts:

Bengali, English, Sanskrit, Philosophy, History, Geography, Economics, Mathematics, Political Science, Music, Education and Environmental Studies with Compulsory Bengali and English.
Different programme available: Students of B.A. General Course have to take three Elective subjects.

[Education Tour is compulsory as per University syllabus for Geography, Botany and Zoology.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS TO THE ADMITTANTS

Minimum 75% attendance in classes, both theory and practical is compulsory.
Name of a student will be struck-off from the Register if she is found absent for 30 days at a stretch without any notice.
Cancellation of Admission and Transfer Certificate will not be allowed after 30 days of admission.
Subject change will be allowed as per B.U. norms.
Attendance in all Unit Test & Class Tests is compulsory.
Computer CCC course along with spoken English and Multimedia are compulsory value added courses and should be completed within 3 year of study.
Mobile can be used in Common Room and Canteen only.
